LEPOW / EQUIPMENT GUIDE

Choosing cardio and strength equipment for your space

A gym equipment list works best when it starts with the people and sessions the space needs to serve. A hotel fitness room, a coached studio and a conventional gym may need different combinations, even when their floor areas are similar. Use the product range to build a shortlist, then confirm the details against the actual installation.

Write a brief before choosing models

Identify who will use the room, whether training is supervised and what the busiest periods are likely to be. Separate the must-have exercises from features that would be useful occasionally. Existing equipment, access routes and staff capacity can change which addition makes the most sense.

For a hotel, ease of explanation and the way equipment sits within the interior may matter alongside training functions. A studio may prioritise coaching access and transitions between exercises. A larger gym may want a familiar cardio option plus one station that broadens the programme.

Compare treadmills by their intended role

LT8 is the model to examine when high-incline training and SLED pushing are central to the brief. It combines a −3% to +40% incline range with a 1–20 km/h speed range and a fixed SLED station. Its published maximum user weight is 120 kg.

LT6 and LT6M both publish a 3.0 HP AC motor, speeds from 1–20 km/h, a 0–20% incline range and a 130 kg maximum user weight. LT6 has a black, non-wood exterior. LT6M uses specified solid-wood exterior components, which may suit a room planned around timber finishes.

LT3 adds an upward-folding deck. The listed AC version has a 2.5 HP motor, a 1–18 km/h speed range, a 0–16% incline range and a 120 kg maximum user weight. Folding helps with storage, but does not remove the need for a full operating area. Ask for the folded dimensions and operating clearances before relying on a particular storage layout.

Consider how the strength stations work together

The LEPOW Smith system offers six guide-track angles, independent left and right movement, and barbell, short-handle and cable configurations. Both black and wood-grain panel versions include 60 kg of weight per side. Confirm which attachments are included in the proposed configuration.

The adjustable bench has nine backrest positions, three seat settings and 560 mm of fore–aft travel. Its rated maximum load is 200 kg; this is not stated as a maximum user weight. If it will be paired with a Smith system, confirm compatibility and the space required throughout the intended movement.

Treat installation and support as part of the purchase

A footprint on a floor plan is only the starting point. Check delivery access, floor conditions, supply requirements, maintenance access and manufacturer-specified clearances. Consider how a member enters, uses and leaves each station without interrupting the next one.

Ask for the final specification, operating instructions and the service arrangements applicable to your location. Duty requirements, installation, warranty, spare parts and local support should be confirmed for the project; they should not be assumed from a motor rating or a product photograph.

Send a brief that makes a quotation useful

Share your location, type of facility, room dimensions, intended use and initial quantities. Mark any fixed doors, columns or access restrictions on the plan. Indicate whether you need cardio only or a combined cardio and strength selection, and identify the display or finish options you are considering.

Questions, answered

Which LEPOW treadmill has a folding deck?

LT3 has an upward-folding running deck. Confirm the folded dimensions, handling instructions and required operating space before finalising the layout.

Which model combines high incline and SLED pushing?

LT8 combines running, an incline range of −3% to +40%, and a SLED pushing mode at a fixed station.

Are a bench load rating and maximum user weight the same?

No. The LEPOW bench specification lists a 200 kg rated maximum load. Do not interpret that as a separate maximum user-weight rating; confirm the intended loading with the supplier.
